This memorial was built in downtown Columbus to honor American workers killed on the job. Their names are listed on the black granite wall with space to add names to the wall annually as necessary.
Also placed in the wall is a memorial to the Americans who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks. This portion of the memorial features hand etchings depicting the towers during the attacks, and firefighters raising the American Flag over the debris.
Sitting on top of the wall is a limestone cap engraved with the names and logos of those who donated to the construction of the park. The side walk also contains concrete pavers that are also engraved with donor names.
